FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FROM CLIENTS TO OUR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

Pricing

  • No matter your budget, it is important to us to honor your investment. We ask that you have an open and honest conversation with our team about your design goals so we can find ways to work within the requested budget to achieve the desired results. This may involve prioritizing certain elements of the design, finding creative solutions, or suggesting alternative materials. After discussing the project scope, we will provide an estimated budget — which is an educated guess — based on the information provided. It may be subject to change as the design process progresses and more information becomes available.

  • There are two ways that we invoice clients — time and product. Here's how that works:

    Design Services (Time)

Our clients pay a Retainer Fee at the start of a project, which represents 50% of our Estimated Total Design Fee. Once the Retainer Fee is used up, likely around the halfway point of your project, we will send monthly invoices for hours worked. To keep our team accountable and to give you visibility into what we're working on, we diligently track our time spent on a project. Alongside your invoice, you will also receive a report with task-level notes to see what our team was working on. Our average hourly rate is $100/hr.

    Furnishing (Purchased Goods)

Products from Jeid Studio require a 75% deposit to place the order. Once ordered items are shipped, the remaining 25% is charged to a monthly invoice. Our pricing includes the cost of shipping, handling fees, warehouse/studio storage, and delivery to your home.

  • No worries! Whether we will be placing a single order or ordering intermittently, we will work through the complete design package at your pace. This allows us to make purchase decisions based on what will be most impactful for your home, rather than stressing about costs. We want to move forward with the vision at your leisure.

  • Our mission at Jeid Studio is to deliver expertise and create ease in the home design process. Hiring a team of certified interior designers can bring value in numerous ways:

Turn your vision into a reality.

All our designers have obtained a Bachelor's degree in interior design and have diverse experiences prior to their time at Jeid Studio. This translates to a greater understanding of design principles, a more refined eye for detail, and the ability to better navigate the design process and bring your vision to life.

    Reduce stress

Building a new home or renovating an existing space both require A LOT of decisions. Take countertops, for example. What type of material? Does it fit with the space and your lifestyle? What kind of edge profile? Is it honed or polished? Does the material fit your budget? We handle every detail, dilemma, and decision with an undeniable amount of love and savvy so you can truly enjoy the process every step of the way.

    Use our connections

We have great relationships with contractors, suppliers, and artisans. Not sure whom to work with or where to buy from? We won't just point you in the right direction; we'll make an introduction and pass along the relevant information so we can hit the ground running with the other party. In addition, we have access to trade-only manufacturers that give you allow you to truly select custom furnishings made for you.

  • Please say it! Designers crave your honesty. A firm “yes” or “no”, along with an explanation on why you like or dislike something is the best gift you can give your designer during the selection process. Even if it feels like a funny or clunky explanation, your opinions get us closer to nailing down your style and preferences. If you have specific ideas or looks in mind, your designer will appreciate hearing about them.

  • Location is not a limitation for us! Our process and the tools we developed allow us to work wherever you are, literally. While a majority of our clients are in Greater Des Moines, we have completed projects across Iowa, Washington D.C., Missouri, California, and The Bahamas.
