Rey Rug

Description

Inspired by vintage rugs, this area rug recreates a classic aesthetic with a new, variable-pile texture. It was created using a craft process that took over two years to perfect and was invented specifically for this collection.

Motifs are woven with individual threads to create an intricate design, including white cotton threads that mimic a vintage rug’s authentic wear patterns. The result is a stunning area rug with an uncanny resemblance to a one-of-a-kind antique textile.

This rug is made in Egypt from a blend of polypropylene, polyester, and wool for a thicker, softer pile. It is also OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring its materials don’t contain harmful substances.

Care: Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry sponge or cloth. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. Professional cleaning recommended. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.
