The walls are there. The floors are down. Maybe some of the furniture is already there too.
But the room still isn't working the way you want it to.
Furnishing is the part where a room becomes a place you actually use.
Furnishing is not shopping.
Buying a sofa is shopping. Furnishing a room is deciding how it works.
Where people sit and whether they can talk to each other. Whether there is a surface within reach of every seat. How you walk through the room. What happens in the evening when the overhead light is too much.
Scale. Layout. What you already own. Furniture, rugs, lighting, drapery, art, and the last layer that makes a room look finished rather than simply furnished.
We start with what you already own.
Some pieces move straight in. Some need a different room. Some need new upholstery, or something around them to make them work.
And some genuinely do not fit the house. We will tell you which.
You do not need to start over. You need the old and the new to look like they were always meant to be together.
A room full of good pieces can still be wrong. That is usually a planning problem, not a shopping problem.
