Where the furniture sits. What fills a twenty-foot wall. How a two-story window gets treated. Where you need another layer of light. What belongs in the corner you did not know would feel empty.
Those are not finishing touches. They are the decisions that turn the rooms you built into the home you pictured.
You keep what you love.
We start with what you already own.
Some pieces move straight in. Others need a different room, new upholstery or something around them to make them work.
And when something truly does not fit the new house, we will tell you.
You do not need to start over. You need a home where the old and the new look like they were always meant to be together.

Beyond the Build works alongside your builder and their design team, without taking over the construction design.
We review the finishes already selected so the furniture, rugs, drapery, artwork and other layers work with the house being built.
If we join while construction is underway, we can also flag built-in decisions that will affect the furnished rooms—lighting locations, window treatments, hardware or other details—while there may still be time to address them.
We advise where the furnishings and the build meet. Your builder and their design team keep ownership of the construction.

While you are building
We plan and order while construction is underway, coordinating the furnishing timeline with the build.
Instead of moving into an empty house and furnishing it room by room over the next two years, you move into a home that already feels considered.
After you close
